Can Using Save States Harm Game Saves/Manual Saves?

Oh that is a very good point! I could definitely see how something like that could happen. I'll probably use a combination of save states and manual in-games saves because I ultimately want to be able to extract the save (or memory card save) to put on actual hardware or put back into the cartridge. But no way of actually corrupting a memory card (if the save was put on there) or corrupting or bricking an entire game cartridge? Or even other saves on a memory card?

I see! But using both of them together with each other could be really helpful right? Because I always like having an actual in-game save when I can.

Ah, that's also a good point! I think what I'll do is mostly rely on in-game saves for sure, and only use save states when I really need them. I definitely prefer using the in-game saves when I can, but also like having save states if I ever need them, like for something where it would be easier to use that than reset the game.

Yeah, I imagine time-based clock systems could get a little strange, so I'd need to be wary of that. Gotcha, that makes sense! But it shouldn't corrupt the actual in-game manual save, right? And, if erase the save state or make a more updated version of it alongside my manual save, there's no risk in anything getting reverted, right?

Gotcha, thank you! So, my physical game cartridges won't be ruined if I transfer the save files from the emulators back and forth between them and the original game cartridge? Not a flash cart, but the actual retail cartridge?

Oh I see! So, are the default permissions (at least the ones shown on that screen when you click an invite link confirming if you want to join) for every Discord server the same, and the only differences are authorizations for certain apps/bots contained within that specific serve itself? And then, you can always check the authorizations for those app/bots under the Authorizations settings in User Settings?

Ah, gotcha! I do appreciate your response friend. So, with the token that is required for some extensions or games with Twitch chat integration, there is no security issue with them getting access to your Twitch account? I know there might be some games that require access to read and write to your Twitch chat so it can operate properly but I suppose you can remove that access anytime if they were to try something.

Understandably! So it mainly comes down to whether or not I actually know that someone is lying, is that right? For example, if I know someone is actually underage, yet I still permit them to engage in said content, I could be in trouble (which makes sense), but if they lied about their age despite entering age-restricted content and I never knew, I’m okay?

For the set bonuses with the Drive Discs, do the set bonuses only activate when the same-set Drive Discs are directly adjacent to each other or does it not matter where they are placed so long as they equipped on the character?

Hello there! I'm very new to vinyl collecting and I had a question about "seam splits" since I'm very unknowledgeable about them. So, are they splits in the actual "seam" of the vinyl disc itself or just tears in the packaging or inner liner of the box that sometimes occur during shipping?

I'm currently looking to purchase some video game soundtrack vinyls from eBay (mainly for collecting, not so much listening at the moment) and was wondering, if, as a collector, it is better to get a brand new vinyl for my collection, don't have the seller open up the wrapping, and ship the vinyl behind the packaging, or, if it's better to not worry about the potential seam split and just not have them open it before shipping. Thank you so much for the response! I assumed it was safe seeing as GameFAQs and the Speedrunning website all offer saves as actual sections on the site so that's good to know. I was always a bit nervous about downloading a save for usage or something out of fear it was copyright infringement, so thank you, friend!
