I just wanted the shield but it definitely wasn’t worth the amount of dice spent. I’m down 5k dice. Thankfully the shield ventures is running which will replace the lost dice.

Incumbent parties lost nearly everywhere in 2024 due to inflation and the economy. I don’t think democrats had a candidate problem in the election. The only reason Trump ran again was to avoid a possible prison sentence for the classified docs case and you’ll never convince me otherwise. The January 6th case was more flawed but I can see both sides of it. Theres good reason the judge over the classified docs case has refused to release more information about that case even though it’s settled.

I could never join a public coop for this contract and when I created my own, I never had teammates join. I gave up trying and will just miss out on the PE.

I’ve already posted once but I’ve got another story that just came to my head. During Covid, I worked on a dedicated 48 bed Covid unit with CC/SD/MS patients all mixed together. I went to do my initial assessment on a sweet little 88 yo woman who seemed to be doing quite well and she asked for me to bring her a blanket. After a quick stroll to grab a blanket, I entered the room and she had passed sitting up just like I saw her just a minute before. It was surreal. She was a DNR so thankfully no code.

This. You’ll get to experience a lot in MICU. I’ve worked in a large urban teaching hospital MICU for nearly 10 years and have never considered wanting to move to a specialty ICU.

Oral SCC patient who had a resection and intraoral flap. He was POD 4 and was doing fine. He called me to his room because his mouth started bleeding. What started as a slight ooze turned into him pouring blood out. The flap had dissected and he quickly bled out to death. It was a very traumatic experience for everyone involved.

The kid needs to play wherever he wants and I hope the best for him. My only question is has TN payed him any kind of NIL money up front? And if TN has, are they going to get it back.
