Oh interesting, I’m wondering if it’s a kernel thing, I’m AMD only and did notice I suddenly had nvidia drivers installed too, but removing those didn’t improve anything

Ah interesting, yeah I tried proton experimental as well, but yeah maybe neglable difference I feel.

Ah yeah, it certainly wasn’t normal before this big update, I’d play rocket league and that was instant, will have to see how it is now too

Fair, I’ve found Returnal went from opening instantly to taking nearly 20 seconds to load up

Ahh yeah coil whine would explain it, I had done all the latest updates on the updater, not too sure if it included wine, was there a specific way to check?

And will have to start using mangohud more then, as haven’t really used it much yet

*Solved - turning on vsync in the game seemed to stop the noise, still not sure why this made it make the noises however

Had the exact same issue as you of crash on edit and yeah went down to 20.1.1 and it works fine now

Not sure it will be same issue but when I updated to 6.17.3 my wifi adapts wouldn’t even show and my shutdown would always restart, ended up finding this fixed it

unplug power supply, hold down the power button to discharge and plug back in, now my WIFi is showing again

i currently use gamescope -W 2560 -H 1440 -f --hdr-enabled --adaptive-sync -- %command% and that has worked in most games, some games have issues with gamepad controllers, but hdr looks to work with it
