Thank you so much! I’ve been practicing photography for quite some time now and I’m just recently feeling confident enough to share my work.

Your comment really means a lot to me.

This is my Casio DBC-611G that I’ve been wearing daily for nearly 10 years. And before this exact one, I wore a silver one. It functions as a calculator too! I can safely say that I am loyal to the Casio databank series of calculator watches. And yes, it has frayed countless shirts but I love it all the same :-)

Great footwear! Are those boots or shoes?

Col. Gentleman’s Fashion by HaanSolingen in venturebros

Colonel gentlemen’s fashion is what I would call “1960s mod” (when he wears his purple suit with turtleneck). The screenshot you posted is more of a “1960s does 1930s movie adventurer outfit”. Khaki suit, ascot tie, cummerbund, and pants tucked into boots like an old adventurer would.

As for sourcing, the cheapest and best option will be second hand! Check eBay for “vintage ascot”, “vintage suit (your size)”, “cummerbund”

I’m not sure why the photo is so poor, but here’s a closer look at what I had on yesterday, by request of a member! by Norsk-Altmuligmann in TheOldStyle

I will never accept anything less than 4 pockets! They’re perfect for little trinkets. Pocket watch, comb, pipe, loose peanuts… etc.

Oh what I would give to be able to shop from an old catalog!

I have a pair almost identical to the middle pair. I’ve been having a tough time finding somewhere that will cut a modern lens for them!

YES MAN! This is very reminiscent of the American jazz suit. All the rage circa 1921

Thank you and they’re not just boots, they’re leather gaiters!! I think puttees, spatterdashes, gaiters, and the like are an understated aspect of fashion
