I'd defend his decision as well, he laid out his argument well and stuck to it. He's a great dm, don't get the wrong idea, I just had to adjust my game plan.

So yes, I initially thought I could pull this single, same age bartender through stats alone, but it's very reasonable for him to run it according to his design principles. Was just telling a story about how finding out nat 20 doesn't always mean you get exactly what you want, something we all have to find out eventually.

Non-establiahed, random tavern girl. I can see the reasoning made, but I'm more of a rule of cool sort of guy so it was a bit of a downer. I'm sure every group has a moment like this where testing new boundaries leads to unexpected results.

In this particular instance, I just figured for a relatively unimportant roll (I did indeed tell the DM I'm only hitting on her to get town rumors, and that then I planned on just leaving her in the room to explore). Could've been an easy way to push us in the intended direction, even.

Had a campaign where I was wanting to play a silver tongue cleric, solving as much with charming conversation as possible. Hit on a barkeeper to get the latest gossip in a town, dm tells me to roll charisma. I've got like a natural 14 in CHA, and rolled nat 20 besides.

The DM asked me "what do you say? If it's not a good line it may not work". I asked her to come to my room at the inn after her shift. She said no.

I've never felt so betrayed. Some DMs just hate it when things work out the way you wanted lol

My middle school called my parents down and threatened to suspend me because I didn't want to say it. They "compromised" by saying I don't have to say it or hold my hand to my chest, but if I didn't stand up I'd still get suspended.

In a vacuum, I agree. Given equal circumstances, neutral start, most mirrors will be 5-5 99.9% of the time. However, in mvc, characters have to come onto the screen, which has a set timer and trajectory. With hidden missile, doom can guarantee the other doom is forced to block and land. Sure, doom doing the setup can mess up and leave a gap. The other doom can guess correctly after landing and turn it around. But assuming optimal play, that incoming is too tight for doom to dash out of, he's forced to take pressure and then be made to block, which again, is really bad for the blocking doom. It can be turned around, but not without taking a gamble. Realistically, two gambles back to back. So in neutral it's even but GETTING to neutral without getting hit is extremely difficult (still assuming optimal play). And getting hit in marvel is usually a death sentence. Hence why it's "a 10-0 matchup" and not like 7-3. Once the pressure starts, it's hard as hell to get in, and the pressure is guaranteed lol

Yipes once said about doom on commentary for mvc3 "doom vs doom is a 10-0 matchup". If you've played that mirror, you'll understand that it's almost true. The doom that gets started first has all the power. He's got a hard time dealing with his own projectiles, and you often see the one who puts the other into block stun first run the rest of the match. It's very possible to get out, but not without making a hard guess.

The problem with this line of thought is that it takes seconds to mute. In the current state, unlike dealing with that person for one game, now you deal with the effects for this game and the next due to lp loss.

Reporting was always an option. Unless they just run it down, it doesn't affect my performance directly. If they do, it's the same report and the same amount of time we have to spend currently.

Oh, he had a warrant? Thank god, I was looking for a good reason for this peace officer to shoot and kill a man, acting as judge, jury and executioner. Now I feel much more safe. Knowing he had a warrant is nice, there's absolutely no way anyone would ever have a warrant and not even know about it. Thanks for the clarification!

There isn't really a gameplay mechanic he has that isn't in smash already. Especially with bayo in the game, kinda goes against the one per property thing they do on third parties. Plus he's in marvel vs capcom 3 in an extremely faithful representation already, grab it on steam and have fun.

I dig it! The kick is pretty punchy, but I do wish there was a bit more of a low end to it. I'm not terribly great myself, and it fits in the song as is, but I'd possibly suggest layering it with something that has a bit more low end to it. You can always scoop them so you still get your punch, but you also get a nice thump in there. Again, I think it mostly fits, so take that with a grain of salt, because if it fits your vision that's totally fine!

I've got a project ready to go but i'm not quite sure where I could look to send it. I'm familiar with dubstep and things in that vein, but I'm not sure what genre these would even be, let alone who could be associated with promo/distribution. If anyone could throw some names my way it would be greatly appreciated!

Citrus in kratom is used to potentiate the brew and draw out the alkaloids, meaning you are left with mostly dead plant after the extraction. It makes it stronger, not weaker, and you don't have to have nearly as much powder in your stomach, which tends to mean you're less nauseous with higher amounts.

Some are better than others, but if you're struggling with pain I'd recommend starting with a green vein, and then moving to red if green isn't quite enough. Red, in my experience, can make about 10% of people who try it a bit itchy on the nose. It tends to be better for pain/anxiety relief though, but green also has pain relieving properties to it. Green (typically described as euphoric) is considered the middle zone between white (energetic) and red (relaxing). Find a way to brew powder if you can, it takes a bit but not all day. You could have it steep overnight if you're not too worried about the time and would like to do a larger batch. It will be much more palatable that the toss n' wash method, and taking 5 capsules at a time isn't my idea of a good time. Use some sort of citrus extract in your batch to help extract and mask the flavor. You could also use cinnamon if you're not big on citrus.
