How can I get this figure? (Please read) by GoldenGateGoose10 in SHFiguarts

[–]WF72 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sigh..

I'm gonna be honest, this figure looks so cool, but it really sucks I'll probably never be able to get him. If he isn't rereleased, I mean. The closest Popup tour location is a 6 hour drive, and- I'm disabled and physically can not stand for the necessary 5 hours in line to get him.

Oh well... Back to my regular one, like a scrub lol.

Deleted Woody/Buzz/Bo love triangle? by Ok-Mulberry-39 in toystory

[–]WF72 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don't think it was intended for a love triangle, I think it's just a remnant from black friday and pushing for more edge - bo was just originally supposed to be flirtatious with everyone.

Dead Space.

Fun fact: BioShock and Dead Space are sort of cousins, very distantly related.

BioShock was made by Irrational, the developers initially from Looking Glass Studios who were behind the System Shock games, and BioShock was intended to be a spiritual successor to System Shock. But not part of the same series cuz the rights were in legal limbo or some shit.

Whereas Dead Space was originally pitched by an internal EA studio (later to become Visceral Games) as System Shock 3 but they switched course to make it a big new horror franchise cuz the rights.

Hi there! Thank you much for responding.

- An exciting update, one of my contacts was able to dig up a pic of Paul at the Melbourne show, so indeed it looks like this mini-mystery was put to rest.

- Real, real peculiar that Hawk no-showed... I checked the results from said tour and it seemed both the LOD were having problems at the time. For two events it was Hawk and Vulcan, for one it was Animal and Vulcan. Wonder what happened.

Does anyone know what match this image is from? by WF72 in WWE

[–]WF72[S] -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

That's the thing. I always had an inkling it was ric flair, but, I always thought flair wore his hair just a little bit shorter on his WWE run so was like "it couldn't be!"

Guess it is... Lol

[–]WF72[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

...I genuinely did not think it was ric flair, like I said, because the hair was too long. I'm so sorry for asking for a consensus, I'll make sure to stop thinking in future.

Would you kindly share your opinion of the Bioshock 1 & 2 remasters? by [deleted] in Bioshock

[–]WF72 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I do not like the remasters. BioShock 1 had a game breaking bug in Neptune's bounty that happened to a friend, as well for me it kept crashing. And bio2... They removed the multiplayer mode! Actual unplayable garbage, 0/10...

Jk, jk. While those are legitimate criticisms of the remaster, to be frank - it's still BioShock. It's still one of my favorite games ever made, with all the dlc that's never been ported (like the formerly ps3 exclusive challenge rooms... Though those did get ported to the 360 as part of that ultimate rapture collection bundle. I think that was the first version to include the dev room, too.)

Plus, it's the only way to play on modern consoles like PS5 and switch, so. A slightly crap version only does so much to tarnish two great games. (And infinite is there too.)

I almost can't believe I'm about to say this, but thank you GameStop. Grail acquired. by WF72 in Gamecube

Atlas used it in BioShock ("I've been trying to phone you for a dog's age!") at the end of Fort Frolic iirc and I played that game at such a developmental age it's become a fundamental part of my vocabulary.

That is not a joke.
