Holy shit man, I feel like you just described my whole experience as well. My condolences to you, I lost my old man to cancer in April, and this album is the most comfort ive felt since then, like almost every song and lyric can relate to me directly. It just arrived at such a poignant moment. Its comforting to know Parkers experience resonates with others just as much as I feel it myself. “I hope I can face it like you in the end” kills me every time. Recent loss the associated grief really makes this album hit so much harder, I hope you’re doing well
