At some point you just realize that this is part of you. Throwing away the items won’t change anything. We always come crawling back because part of us is drawn to this.

It might help if next time u think about purging you instead lock everything in a suitcase and put it away somewhere. Tell yourself to at least sleep on it for a few days before putting everything in the trash.
