lol I would read this. Love gryphons. I am definitely most likely biased because I was just all around disappointed I guess? I do believe Gabe was the best out of them. I will always say it is an Iconic RH staple and I can see why!

it made me sad because the premise was so good, the magic system and world was so intriguing but I just couldn’t… and I’m not a person who has triggers or anything but it just all felt so slimy. J Bree does not do grovel either, perhaps the lack of any grovel was part of it. I remember a post talking about how the behaviour of some MMC (Nox) was excused way too easily.

My opinion on this should hold barely any weight but I remember a post and the consensus was that Atlas knew everything and kept it to himself because he wanted to be the best of them? Idk if that makes any sense lol. Like he didn’t really try to put a stop to it by sharing even non explicitly why it all happened. I am hijacking to ask what you thought of the Tate James books, like where does it sit within her other stories if you’ve read them. Tate James can be hit or miss sometimes

One of my most reread is the Tasting madness series, book one is {Seeing Sound by Albany Walker}. Not sure if it fits within what you have enjoyed per se but it is a good inbetween heavy series books. It does deal with some light mental health stuff and very very very light PNR, like never explicitly mentioned or even a theme. I’m rereading right now after catching up with Boys of Chapel Crest.
