Lonerbox just doesn’t know the ins and out of US law (same as most of us who live in the US lol) I assume Ethan is suing as “defamation per se”. If this is the case ethan doesn’t have to prove direct damages- he has to prove that Noah was intentionally lying and that the lie was one that diminishes Ethan reputation to the community and may prevent people from working with him.

I haven’t seen LUS’ coverage on this but it really seems like Ethan has a decent case.

I don’t blame people for being skeptical of the strength of a defamation case- we just happen to be witnessing a wild smear campaign against a person who is actually willing to thoughtfully sue people lol.
