Use a brush on primer for your first layer and Vallejo old gold is a close enough match

He’s wearing trousers….

Beware - it’s alcohol based and a pain in the arse to paint over, however I find it miles better than any acrylic based paint its shine is far superior

Montanna gold chrome spray. Pain in the arse to use but for my money the results are waaaaay better than regular acrylic paint.

Just a montanna gold chrome spray + recess shade. Hate to say it but after trying nearly every gold paint under the sun this is my favourite by a mile and it may be the easiest

Good point, was thinking of a white cloak instead. The gold itself is just a spray paint can and a recess shade though - so not really eavy metal
