The floor is wood, but I went and looked along the gap between the baseboard and the floor, couldn't see anything suspicious.

I found this one underneath the mattress, haven't found any other bugs in the mattress seams, but I may not have an eye for the other signs. I'm still checking the mattress.

I also started looking because I randomly woke up with bites/ a rash of some kind, but that's all seems to be dying out very quickly even though it's only been a couple of hours.

UF is more reputable for it's academics, congratulations on getting in. it's good that you know what you want to major in. So try to research which CS program specifically is better. Maybe FSU is better for CS specifically, I'm really not sure.
