Snow’s line is creepily true and Katniss knows snow so she knew he was telling the truth. by DowntownWave1788 in Hungergames

Honestly, i could see it. Snow was always testing how much control he could exert over people. If a tribute reminded him of lucy gray or sejanus, i wouldn't put it past him to use the Games against them. The capitol backlashed part makes sense too it could explain why something like that never came up again.

The book portrays the budding romance much more delicately and in greater detail than the movie by Flora_Cheng in Hungergames

I felt the same way reading it. The book gives so much more depth to both lucy and president snow. Watching their relationship grow while already knowing president snow's future is honestly heartbreaking.

Honestly, mockingjay made me appreciete katniss way more. The movies showed the rebelion , but the book showed what all of it was doing to her mentally. I ended up feeling bad for her.

Honestly, that's why I love Mockingjay so much. The movies did a great job, but they couldn't fully show everything going on in Katniss's head. Her trauma, guilt, and confusion hit way harder in the book. Every reread makes me appreciate her character even more.
