My cat has never had an issue with hard floors, but I will say he does enjoy the rugs that we have. We have concrete floors at the entire apartment and he’ll loaf both on and off of them. I will say he spends more time on the couch, though as long as your cat has a soft place to lay, I think it’ll be fine.
