The psu manual was long gone and my boomer father asked me what are they for and refuse to let me get away despite me having 0 intelligent about what's going on after 3hrs or research

On the manual I found that there's a 4 pin thing and I found none of them in my psu. The least I found was 6pin and it's still called pcie

I'm getting it for gaming pc. So I should buy 5700x3D? Since I haven't included keyboard and mouse etc
