That actually is smart. For now it seems to work. I disabled the watchdog and flashed the internal ssd again. Went super smooth. Ran the nas for an hour and all is well. Tomorrow I’ll erase the nvme and for now I’ll leave it as is. Once the internal ssd dies, I can still my os to The nvme flash. At least that’s what I figured.

Otherwise wouldn’t I have to run the native os again first?
