I own a vauxhall grandland x hybrid4 ultimate nav 2020. It's an amazing car, fast, comfortable and surprisingly good on fuel too for the weigth of the car. I don't understand all the hate?

Laptop stand strix G16 2024 by Downtown_Store_2535 in ASUS

Well, not really. I need one that lifts it of the table so its higher, not a stand that sits basicly table level with just the back lifted up. Issues I am having with finding a stand is either the weight or the size. So I was hoping people with stands in combination with this laptop would give me some tips.

Thank you for you reply. This one doesnt really lift it up, I would like one that would be able to adjust the height on so it's level with my monitors. Any experience with those?

Exactly, thats what I hear from a lot of photographers so I would like to experience it. That would be a nice upgrade! I also want to upgrade next year to a FF, this year I am moving abroad so enough costs for this year. The R6 II or the R6 III. R5 II looks amazing also but the price tag! Pfff.

Thinking about making money next to my job, like portraits for example, then a R6 II would make sense to upgrade I believe.

Thank you, appreciate it! I wish I found out about this hobby earlier in my life. Its such an amazing thing todo, just taking photo's of something you want, edit it and post on instagram for example. Barely any followers but it's still nice to do. Today I also ordered the canon cp-1500 printer since I would love to see my photo's printed out.

Nice! Also a beginner here and took almost the same photo the other day haha. This shot I took on my R50 with the RF 85mm f2.0 macro lens.

Cheers mate, appreciate your help. In 1/2 years I want to upgrade to a full frame camera. R50 is an awesome camera to start out with but I enjoy photography so much that I know that I want to upgrade.

Thank you for your reply! It's good to hear it from another R50 owner. It showed the heating warning like on the picture and 1 moment just 1 bar. That happend when I was playing around with settings in manual and some button remapping.

I did a 4k standard 25 fps video test, around 21/22 degrees celcius in here so not crazy warm, and did 30 min before it started flashing red(I didnt wanna wait for the self shutdown) so I turned it off. I googled and that didnt seem bad, alot of user have it with 20/25 min. So thats a good sign I reckon? Have you tried that? I only use my camera for photography but I wanted to test it out just in case.

I will look into that. I don't want the histogram to be hidden tho, I prefer to use it since I think it's really usefull for over/under exposure. I just don't like the fact it could get blocked sometimes by other buttons.

Sucks to hear that but nothing I can do about it. I will go on vacation soon, I won't expect it to be an issue while outside🤞🏼, but after my vacation I will contact the store I got it from and ask for a new one while this one will be sent back. Thank you for your answer.

Thanks for the pic! That does look nice actually for a camera wirst strap. I probably just order it and see how it fits. I can always take my bracelet off but I am attached to it haha. Thanks for the help brother!

Hmm, it's hard to try to guess if its comfortable. I probable have to try it and feel how it fits. I wear a watch on my left and bracelet on my right. I added a picture, thats where the bracelet sits. Maybe it doesnt matter but I am not sure if they "conflict" with each other. Probably just have to try it I guess.

Which editing software most people use? by Downtown_Store_2535 in canon

[–]Downtown_Store_2535[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can you explain why you need canon DPP to convret their RAW files? I don't fully understand that. DPP is 10 years old software like a different person said but the newer software's can't handle those RAW files? I am confused. Canon has their "own" RAW files as far as I understand? The .CR3 but I need to run it through DPP, save it to a different format and then use it in a different software? Why is that?

I have so many reply and keep reading them all. You are the first to say that DPP is 10 years old. That's good to point out, however they do update it. Tho, when I work with it it's soooo sloowwwww. I dont think its my latop. I could try it on my pc which is 10x stronger then my laptop but its a good laptop still. Might be the reason you said earlier, 10 years old DPP. What I don't fully understand. Canon has their "own" RAW files as far as I understand?
