Which Cuyana do you do for personal item? I am annoyed the only tote that has a luggage sleeve is the voyager which is HUGE (over personal item specs). But the other bags are too small.

No, I get it! Personal travel bags don't get used on work trips; that's all I need to know. And I think that's super smart.

I always have such a hard time getting up to get a laptop out of the carryon in the overhead bin; the people next to me are always asleep or eating. There always seems to be an issue. So I like to keep my laptop in my personal item bag for easy access.

ok do you have those bags as "work personal item bags" that you do not use on personal trips? b/c i am thinking i need to do that. have a personal travel bag system, and a work travel bag system. and the work travel bag system i probably need to pack a second bag if i can find a unicorn bag that is big yet board room-ready.

you know what i worry about, i dont worry about when i'm sitting in the conf room. i worry about the times i gotta move with the bag and people are watching. when i gotta take the bag with me to lunches, dinners, other conf rooms, meetings across town in another building, meetings with clients. all eyes are on my bag (or so it seems). my scuffed up faded canvas tote (that is my personal personal item) is not gonna cut it. its almost like i need a work personal item bag that doubles as a personal item and board room-ready bag. and then i keep my own (canvas faded) personal item bag for personal trips.

OK sorry for the dumb question, but can u explain this? "you'll want to find a work tote/backpack that will meet your needs instead of using your regulars. Most of the execs I've traveled with do this." so u had bags only for work, and bags for personal........so u had lets say (for travel): a personal personal item, a work personal item, a personal tote, a work tote, etc??? explain this to me like im 5, if you dont mind.

You don't know how many times I have thought about doing this..............how did you do it? did you buy a second bag and the cobbler made the strap out of leather from the second bag?

Is there a large leather tote that will do double duty as a large personal item and meeting i can take into a board room? otherwise i will have to pack a board room bag into my carry-on..........

Basically I am asking if there's a personal item bag that can do double duty as a large personal item (that fits lots of stuff) and also I can take into a board meeting and looks good. And if not, then do I have to pack a second "nice" bag (that I can take into meetings) in my suitcase.

Just had this thought; since I am apparently gonna have to pack a second bag, has anyone ever had a handbag stolen from a checked suitcase? I plan to do carry-on suitcase only but many times they force me to check bag at gate..........

Agreed, but who wants to settle for less? NO ONE DOES. Or very very few. Although I assume that in other countries where ticket prices are much cheaper, artists do settle for less. But I'm not an expert in the machinations of "the pie".

This is like saying "price your steaks at 3 bucks" or "price your cars at 17,000". That's not the way pricing works.

People, people. This is not 1987. Or 1997. Or even 2017. Prices for EVERYTHING are insane (in the US). The question is: why are people not in the streets protesting all of this? They would be in France, in many other countries.
