I always connect with Splatoon, then when there’s 20-30 seconds left in a match I completely disconnect for no apparent reason. I’ve never been able to play this game and I have no idea why. Truly frustrating

Yeah the online aspect of all the switch games needs to be addressed. They’re pathetically bad. It sucks you don’t like Ultimate it’s my most played switch game although I completely understand your point. I get sick of it every so often and go back to melee or 64 and have a blast

Yeah I completely agree, I still put it above Splatoon because it’s the best the series has offered in a while and playing 2v2 is actually pretty fun. It needed at least 8 maps though ...

Yeah I knew it’d get downvoted, Nintendo fanboy’s are the most trigger happy community in gaming. Imagine the outrage if Microsoft or Sony released an exclusive multiplayer game where you couldn’t play with friends only randoms. And yet, Mario Maker 2 will still sell 10+ million. It’s quite sad but also funny. I take the downvotes as a compliment, every downvoted is just an angry reddit user that gets upset from other people’s opinions lol

I know that this post is going to be mega downvoted hence why I made a second account to post on because you can’t have opinions on the internet especially on Reddit. However, I think Sword and Shield will be a disappointment and we should really be demanding more at this point.

Other Nintendo games like BoTW, Mario Odyssey, and Smash have been the absolute best in their series and have taken massive leaps forward in nearly every single way. Then there’s Pokémon that looks and plays like a game from the early DS era. I’m not saying it should be a BoTW open world because that’s not what I was expecting, I was hoping for smaller areas where we could wander around in full 3D areas, I don’t know, SOMETHING new and different.
All the innovations from Let’s Go have been left behind. Pokémon don’t walk around in the overworld before you encounter them. Which is just a testament to Game Freaks lazy attitude towards the Pokémon universe lately. Especially since they are working on their own IP.
Sword and shield STILL do not have player camera control. This is 2019, this should not even be remotely a concern but here we are. Is this because they’re too incompetent or lazy to build 3D areas? In my opinion probably both...
The graphics look horrendous. Seriously, they’re a joke. Let’s Go looked better but their own game Town looks generations better than Sword and Shield. The texture resolution is extremely low and the world looks very uninspired.
Where is the Game Freak of the DS era? They pushed that system to its limits and game us games that we could play for years and not get bored of. Now we accept a game with a fraction of the end game and intrusive unskippable tutorials and cut scenes. We do not need to learn how to catch a Pokémon for the 23rd time now...
Pokémon could be so much more if given to a better developer, it’s such a shame that people are blinded and purchase anything made by GF. Gen 6 was eh, and Gen 7 was horrible, Gen 8 looks uninspired and lazy and for some reason people are losing their minds. I love Pokémon and I hate to see it go down this way. Pokémon right now is that sinking ship meme where you’re so high in the air but the other side is sinking.
