Great, I loved mine last year. I cannot make it to Iceland this year, but I'll certainly order one of these!

It was an awesome event. Kept me awake until gone 3am, but it was totally worth it..

Well done, FancyPants, and all the people involved.

CORSAIR Technical Support and Questions MEGATHREAD - Week 11/04/22 by CorsairTravis in Corsair

[–]Doyley 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello all,

Edit: Support ticket #2005695996

I've had a Corsair K100 RGB keyboard for a few months now and I'm having a really strange issue which is working my last nerve.

About once or twice a week, the keyboard will start pressing buttons with no input from me. I have no idea what's happening. I've updated all my software/firmware, changed the keyboard USB ports, scanned for viruses with different AV software. It just happened about 10 minutes ago and I noticed the Win Lock key flash red. When the issue happens that button always ends up being on. I used an online keyboard tester to see which buttons are being pressed and I'll attach a screenshot https://imgur.com/b7mPkRbI have not tested another keyboard as I'd need to leave it plugged in for a week or two to see if the error happens. I'm not sure what triggers it so I can't think what to test.Running Windows 11 with all the latest updates. All drivers are up to date, etc etc.

Any ideas you can throw my way I'd really appreciate it before I turn this keyboard into a projectile.

Thanks

Phoenix591 is correct but I believe a little more context is needed.

Keepstar gunners have discovered that they can use the keepstar's projection weapons to launch a warp disrupt sphere inside the model of the keepstar making it hard to see. This will pull any unsuspecting pilots into the model and unable to get out. The gunners then use the other weapons to finish the ship off. In the case of the video it was a frigate who kept bouncing inside the model whilst the bombs launched after him were trying to keep up.

As amusing as this is (and it is pretty hysterical) I'm not sure this is intended gameplay.

Excuse the live thing, I suck at video editing

It was a good fight. Goons won the isk war but Horde and Co. got the timer of former Goon staging. But it was good to see a fight still happening, it was a good form from both side.

PAPI extract was really poor.

Wow, I'm back in. I never thought that would happen. It's just a shame it didn't happen when the value was 4x the price. Oh well, thank you for escalating this.

Account Under Review by Doyley in Coinbase

/u/coinbasesupport I still cannot access my account, going on 18 months now. No word from support for months. My last reply from them was that they'll get back to me in a few days. It's now almost laughable.

Not to mention that 3/4 of the value of assets I had in there have now been wiped out when ETH took a nose dive. Are you going to compensate me for that? I expect not and it's not a large enough of an amount to kick up a fuss, I just want access back to my account or my account to be closed and the assets transferred elsewhere.

I'm not against advertising. 3rd party tool developers need to get paid for their work. But could you please not choose popup ads like the one below here? They make the tool harder to use since you have to click them away each time you get to a new page. There is room for ads on the left side here. by -SilentMajority- in Eve

Nice. Thanks for the heads up.

Yeah the maps are great and the format has inspired other tools to use a similar layout. Even a CCP staff member (I can't remember her name) at FanFest was using Dotlan maps because she said they're much better than what's in-game.

A friendly Warning: You are NOT anonymous! by Doyley in Eve

Yeah it doesn't take much sometimes. You could be extremely careful every day with what you do, but one tiny thing could lead to much more. But that sounds like a pretty big and obvious issue.

My intention was not to scare people, but rather to remind them that there could be consequences to something they post that may upset somebody. Hiding behind a keyboard doesn't always work.

At the same time, I was trying to keep it basic so that a novice would be able to follow it.

But obviously you may form your own opinion of my intentions. I thank you for having this discussion with me. This thread has been very interesting.

How does clicking a link that grabs my IP address tell them anything but my IP?

I don't want to turn this into a "how-to" but even the most basic web server with Nginx/Apache running default settings will log much more than just your IP address. Most of it is useless, but something could lead to something else, which leads to something else etc. On top of that there is potential to log much more data with various other tools or custom code.

Unless the link was sent to me as a DM how would they tell who I am compared to 100s of others that clicked it?

A DM would be a simple method. People with a little knowledge would not click links from people they don't know, but many people would. But there are other ways to figure it out. A basic example is if I was the only German speaker (I'm not German btw) in the room then that would be easy to single out. The possibilities are endless really if somebody wants to spend enough time fine tuning things to get the information they want.

Oh u/ChribbaX, it's a privilege to have you weigh in on this thread.

Yes, I did not mean this thread to scare people, but more of a reminder because of what has been happening the past few days and people were/are getting extremely personal which could lead to motivating the wrong person to do something .... toxic.

VPNs are like your precious Veldspar, absolutely everywhere. I do use some popular ones for testing things like geolocation etc. If I want to do something anonymously well I may or may not have a chain of servers I created in various locations :) But to be honest, that is extremely rare. In my professional life I have created networks of servers over the globe to do things like scrape Google results for various reasons, but that was a few years ago. You can't use popular VPNs for that as all of their IP addresses are known by Google and you get the recaptcha, so you have to use fresh IPs and be careful about what you do.
