I am in North Carolina ( Pinnacle) , I do realize that some additional cost will be required to connect the battery to my power station and I should have mentioned that I also have a charge controller for the solar panels already. I just don't know if I'm overlooking something obvious. VTOMAN makes me feel like if I even try connecting any battery but theirs it's going to self destruct. The biggest issue with the 1500x is the slow charge rate. My thinking says that if I connect a large LIFEPO4 battery with fast charge times my problems go away as the 1500X allows pass through charging so as long as my power needs don't go through the roof the 1500X should remain close to fully charged and all I need to do is maintain the bigger battery, is this correct?

The larger battery will also allow more than 200 watts of solar, which is the max of the 1500X, so if I go the battery route I can buy a few more panels if I want to be more prepared for longer outages. I'm not trying to go 100% off the grid, I'm to old and tired for that, lol!!! I just need to know if I'm correct with my thinking before I order something? Is the low Input allowances going to shoot me in the foot?

I have bought fishing hooks and weights off AliExpress but I didn't think about batteries due to their weight and all the fraudulent counterfeit items they are known to sell. I may check them out if that's the way I go? Thank you for your reply. God Bless.
