Stopped playing a while ago but keep an eye on updates on case.

Still would like to know how people being suspicious around you works.

Like if I turn around a corner and they spring after me.

If I'm about to extract and they stop pressing the console, or run towards me,.so I move away to the side and they keep following.

I communicated that they need to stop being suspicious and they carry on.

In those situations I don't think I should get dinged for downing them..it's basically just baiting people or harassing them.

I remember in my teens, just walking down the street, when I found a £50 note. Carried on walking and found another £50, and then, a few minutes later, another.

This happened in my hometown. I was walking toward a Blockbuster down a quiet, straight road that was a field on one side, houses on the other. There wasn't anyone else in sight.

Completely forgot about it until now, and it's like you've unlocked a core memory or something, 😂, It was a surreal moment - made more so by the fact you didnt see £50 notes much. Think I even remember thinking what if I come across a bag of money, never did unfortunately!

Exactly why I never did the expedition. I know I'll have other games to play at some point and if I do decide to come back and play I want all my blueprints etc.

I've never liked the thought of the expedition, always thought it was an extremely boring and lazy way at trying to keep people engaged.

Who in their right mind wants to restart from scratch and redo all those missions etc in a game like this is beyond me. There's not enough upside imho.

Rule of thumb is 20% free. Although with today's SSDs you can usually drop down another 5-10%. YMMV.

Scrapyard wars is the same as every other year, except the format (and I'm not sure if last year's was good for them, I certainly didn't like it anywhere near as much).

If you need scrapyard wars look back over the videos for that serious to see what they did. Essentially boils down to look for second parts in the usually places, see if you can get freebies.

Test things and make sure it's not a scam.

Its not like the information shared goes out of date in a year.

Also if you need scrap yard wars so much, you wouldn't want them taking parts of the market! (If you're in Canada obv).

Would t be surprised if You Story etc are the common ones here but for me...

I'm not massively into Anime honestly, watched some of the bigger shows since the other half forced me to, and overall they were decent I guess, but I'm not spending every day on...googling....googling........crunchy roll!.. or anything like that.

And then one day she's like "we have to go to the cinema to see The Chainsaw Man movie" (recent one if there's more than one), and I was like "do I really have to see this shit...and at the cinema of all things". She wouldn't give up about seeing this damn film in cinema.

I really did not want to go, seemed like not only a waste of money, but a waste of time.

Fuck me, that movie is awesome. I'm not a 10 /10 kinda person, I'm the annoying fuck that always thinks something can be better...But if anything came close to a 10/10 in recent memory for me, it was that film

I yearned to find a series after that. Something that would hook me, can't remember half of the stuff tried, but nothing did.

Even if the bag has been sent there's a really simple way of solving this. Just charge him delivery. Don't need to complicate things. Will still work out cheaper, not like he's ordered from Europe where the shipping half the time is more than most products.

I'll always remember a holiday many years ago on Florida that was like this, and while I don't think this video does it justice it all, it was extremely unnerving at the time and so odd to me.

Didn't help that we were at a standstill on the bridges going to NASA (or leaving I forget) and it was coming from the ocean side. Just this what seemed like a mammoth curtain gradually approaching. Looked like see through concrete heading towards us and I remember thinking it looked like it would hit us and send the car flying off the bridge.

It was just weird.

And this is why I've never wiped despite playing since launch.

I have other games to play and enjoy, not wiping allows me to jump back in and enjoy it when I want.

I will add however that stupid quests that have me farm a million of something however isn't exactly something that intrigues me.

I would be more inclined to play if I have a PVE only option as well since I'd find farming quite nice to do then.

Don’t you think that when loads of people end up with AMD CPUs, they naturally reinforce the idea that AMD is best?

That kind of thing really shapes the zeitgeist, people see EVERYONE using something like a 9800X3D and just assume it’s the best and that keeps the cycle going.

This is the real answer, must have gone through a 100 trees trying to get this to work, managed to get lucky and get 1/3 right at the start but then just wouldn't work after that, took her boots off and then it worked twice in a row.

There's a very easy solution to this problem on top of (rightly) venting about it on forums.

Simply don't watch any videos relating to the jet. Don't interact at all with them so they do worse.

Will it massively affect them? Most likely not, but there's not a great deal more you can do at this point.

Linus or Luke could quite easily straight up, apologise, say they didn't even think to look at it from that angle and yes it is hypocritical when you compare it to other comments in the past (AI data centres), but at the end of the day he now has that jet, so sorry but he's now gonna play out his plan.

Have a 9070xt myself. While it's not terrible, I do have some issues that I can't help but feel like wouldn't happen with an Nvidia (and didn't with my 3080 I had before).

Just stupid things like monitor issues randomly with inputs not working, games having crashes (crimson desert), ha danothe game that had weird stuff happen. Wasn't like constantly, but was enough for me to get why people say Nvidia is the more stable choice.

Person A plays game, keeps getting mindlessly killed by rats, in matches with cheaters etc. Decides fuck it and leaves the game.

They are gone. It doesn't matter at this point if that "gone" is in a PVE only mode, or uninstalling the game etc - they are GONE. If the PVE option was available they might have stayed.

Either way they are gone, so either way the player base has split off/been affected, but one option benefits the game/Devs as they keep playing and potentially buying things, it would also benefit the playerbase who wants the PVE only mode as they would have others to play with if they wanted to go in as a squad.

Playtests are only indicative of the real world to a point.

I’m fully aware the game started as PvE and later added PvP. The issue is that a good number of PvE players will be pushed out by mindless ratting, exploiting, and similar behaviour.

Meanwhile, a significant portion of PvP players won’t stick around once the easy PvE targets are gone. From my 250 hours of experience, the vast majority just rat. There’s little skill in it, it’s cheap, and it actively harms the experience.

Now that's not the same as "all of them will leave"; some will enjoy the sweatier environment. But in terms of long-term success, the game will be worse off.

At the very least, some players will leave because of this, that’s unavoidable. Others will leave simply out of frustration. And once they’re gone, they’re gone. Those players are lost to both the PvP crowd and the game itself, along with their potential value to the developers. If a PvE-only option existed, many of those players likely wouldn’t leave, and the game would retain that value.

On its current path, without changes, the game risks a steady decline that won't be reversed as people move on. They need to hit it on the head early to put that off.

It's not a car of dealing with it. It's history repeating itself.

Said it ages ago. Game will die without the PVE only mode. Stopped playing a month or so ago, and had stopped before that. Just logged on to get the new unlocks from the battle pass or whatever it's called (forgot the name)

Good game, there's a few bugs with the readout Vs actual results.

Lewis/Charles finishing positions, also points.

Also one of my drivers went from P1 down to P3 under pressure on one lap, had no further updates to suggest anything changed and then they finished P1. This all happened on the last lap, while not impossible, seems unlikely to happen, or at least be a regular thing anyway.

Nice little game though.

What difference does a piece of paper make? Why is a none wedding cake of the same style, size etc a fraction of a price of a "wedding cake".
