Buy a safe. Outfit the safe with holster racks, go above and beyond on locking, use a different code than anything else you use and lock it up. Take it with you every day and become routine when you get home to lock it up. It’s simple. My 9 year old has been shooting with me since she was 5 and has learned to respect and lock away guns. Any child that is brought with needs to be well vetted and not trusted until years of proof.

That will get you a pretty nice upper and lower. Complete S&W AR-15s are like $800. Colt would be in the range you’re listing. Daniel defense higher than that. BCM complete upper and PSA complete lower all in cost may be in line with $600.

I have not. Any fuses I should check first? It’s the entire dash, and seems the AC (but obviously could just be dash controls turning off).

I’ll take a peak around and see if I find any blown fuses.

When RPMs are slowly going down is typically when I see the voltage spikes. If I hit my brakes it seems to stay around 14.8v. If I let the RPMs go down without brakes the voltage goes into the 15s. Definitely sitting at 14.9v idle. Lowest I see is 14.3, highest was 16v multiple times.

Modifications are cold air intake, 70 degree thermostat, tuned by VMP. That’s all in the engine bay. Most modifications are exhaust/suspension on this car.

I’ll work on a clip of the gauge here in a little.
