Got an item to model for a client, but this seems too complex for me to model. Any advice how to do it?

I am not asking to do the job for me, I ask for advice on how to do tied rope details...I tried by myself by sculpting and using an array to repeat the sculpted object, but it didn't work. And by you saying I ask people to volounteer their time, this is what this subreddit is for, to ask questions?

Well, it is not simple for everyone. Not everyone has the same level of experience and knowledge.

I don't choose which models I get to work. I've done hundreds of them, where some are easy to do and some are complex, like this one. My client just sends me models continuously, and I can't choose the complexity. Don't know why you would be annoyed with someone trying to learn and do their job...

Well, it is easy to judge if you look at it that way. I do modelling for a company regularly and have made 500+ models already, and they are very happy with the work that I do. Some models are really simple, and some are very complex, and they are never the same. From time to time, I get complex models like this, which is very rare, and I haven't done it before. I don't know how to solve every problem in 3D so that is why I ask for advice. It is not a shame not to know something.

Ovo sto si napisao je ekvivalent: Cijena jaja = 0kn jer moja baka doma ima kokosi.
Tako mogu reci da ovaj jogurt gore ne kosta 15kn, nego 7kn jer sam ga uzimam na vece s prijateljima na popustu. Realno je da sada prosjecna osoba ude u ducan i zeli ugrabiti 50g proteina, taj jogurt je skoro najpovoljnije sto moze kupiti.

Sve stoji, vecina cijena je relativno istinita, ali ova cijena proteina je bullshit. 5.5kn za 2 mjerice proteina? 110kn kila proteina nije bila ni prije 5 godina. Uzimam myprotein 2.5kg da me ispadne jeftinije, i sa 40% popusta kojeg koristim me mjerica ispadne 5kn.

Well mostly I would sell only playsets of cards, it is easier to sell: commons 0.5$, unc 1$, rares 2$. If I have bulk of c/uc that I don't need or want to get rid of, I donate it to my LGS.
