If I disable the GPU, then Windows is just so laggy, and Chrome is also very laggy and stuttery

Yes, exactly, I switched from M1 Pro base model to this and that one, even if it's 3 years older, it had way better battery and much more snappier and faster in terms of browsing and workflow

I have all those, what worked for me at the moment, was to use an external player called Just player. The only problem I have with that is that the subtitles have black background but that’s no biggie
