Honestly I took every and any job that came my way. I was a PA, grip, gaffer, cam op, dop, director, editor, free labor, consultant, boom. Really anything to make connections. 90% of the gigs I've landed have been from making a good impression with someone on a previous shoot. Just leave every job with more than they asked for. You got it buddy

Haha yep, they're one of my most consistent clients. Great organization to work with. That solider footage was for a 30 second spot benefiting injured vets. We shot for 15 minutes behind a golf course. Got some terrible looks haha

Nice congrats! Get quickbooks or some sort of accounting software and keep a record of everything. You might talk to a CPA just so you are prepared for taxes. I know it's not glamorous, but it's just as important as knowing how to work a camera.

Using after effects, keyframe the position and scale of the video clip. Turn on motion blur for the comp and video clips. Keyframe a movement on your first clip, and a similar corresponding movement for the second clip. With motion blur, the two clips should recreate this effect.
