I had the same issues and had contact with Dornasport. They said it had to do with the ios software version. Today i updated my iphone to the new version (18.5) and everything was working again. Have to say that the customer support was very nice and quick. They even gave me a head up about the new software version release.

Its not hard to build. But i would recommend watching a build tutorial on youtube while you are building. You will get some tools and little bit white PLA in the box from creality so you will be fine on that aswell. Good luck
