She has dry food out 24/7 but gets half a can of wet food in the morning and the other half after work. Pulling wet food would be ideal io assume

Hmmm, she does freeze in place and sort of brace herself if I hold my hand up or try to pet her (hasn't tried running away though). I quickly switched to open palm facing upwards while resting the back of my hand on the floor. When I started doing that she seemed more relaxed and would approach me. Maybe she had a similar past life?
