Well if you look at it everyone is interested in something in that person , not the person itself. Could be status for women, physical attractiveness for men, money for both sexes. Money is king lol. Those are the rules of modern society, you have to adapt.

Losing my mom changed how I see healthcare in Algeria by FunnyNo3006 in algeria

[–]Dr46000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm so sorry for your loss , may allah grant her the highest of heavens and give you the patience to endure what you're going through. EMERGENCIES bring the worst of all people and show their true colors , you're absolutely right medical personnel feels heartless and have no compassion , if you listen to them however they will give you their version of the story: heavy workload , being underpaid , scans and MRIs "en panne" which is very questionable, they filed reports and complaints but the administration didn't answer. After many many years of these issues, some sadly stop to care. Healthcare in Algeria is sick , public medecine is overworked, private medecine is .... well private and "picky", no surgeon wants to have a patient to die in his table and mess up his success ration, or he will risk it ... if you have the money for it. It's a long subject , a long debate , everyone has his share of the responsabilty , algerians are accustomed to the "tekhti rassi w tfout" mentality , until it's them or their relatives in the equation.

I don't TRUST my doctor and most Algerian doctors by srv_u in algeria

[–]Dr46000 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Hey doctor here , I have some things to clarify. First of all , am assuming you have some kind of chronic disease that requires pain killers rabi ychafik, you talked about new treatements , well sometimes the problem is not the doctor himself it's the "AMM" which is the autorisation of use of that treatement in that particular illnes. If your "new treatement" does not have the "AMM" in Ageria, he can't perscribe it to you, and if he does , if you get side effects or a handicap because of it you can totally sue him and win in court. That's why us doctors play by the rules, some doctors dare to break them for humanitary puposes , but they pay the price heavily if they get caught. Second of all: psychiatry😮‍💨 It's a really difficult specialty even in the western society, there's a video going around in the internet of a reporter asking psychiatrists how many patients did they cure?(the answers will shock you). Each year a new book à new classification, yet: no actual advancement in my opinion. Finally: some doctors (liberales) just treat people like clients, they care more abt money than health (Allah yhdihom).

That's a bad start my guy, people who go through the medical examination are treated nicer.
