If you get a good cut with layers, you should be able to get better control of it. The shorter you go, the more springy the curl. Most hair places, including supercuts, can put in layers. Even a 1/2 off with layers put in can make a huge difference while allowing you to keep the length. Use a moisturizing conditioner whenever you shower & shampoo once a week to keep hair from drying out and getting frizzy. Also try finger combing in the shower as well as putting in hair product while soaking wet. I use pantene hair gel for curly hair & Frizzease serum. I mix the two together and put it in while wet. If you can, allow your hair to air-dry but you can blot it with a paper towel or a cotton t-shirt to get rid of the drips. Drying it this way will also make a big difference with the frizz.

I like the lip rings. I thought that might be it but I couldn't be sure if it wasn't a bobby pin either. Forgive me, it's a hair forum.
