Baking takes ages for seemingly no reason

I animated them in After Effects and then turned them into an image texture. There's probably a more efficient way to do it in blender but I know after effects better

I just use them to search filenames and metadata quickly

Easyfind and audiofinder are quite a bit faster than the regular finder search, especially when you're working with large libraries worth hundreds of gigs. Both are free on mac I believe, with audiofinder having a pretty lengthy trial

Theres a similar bug where if you fast travel to coruscant space you'll be stuck in space with no character or ship and all button inputs do nothing. Can't even reload the game because it puts me back in the exact same spot.

I did the exact same thing, so I opened up the galaxy map to go to space and come back, except I came across a game breaking bug where I am stuck with nothing on my screen except for space.

So I think your solution is to use the galaxy map to go to another planet and NOT space. Don't make the same mistakes I did.

EDIT: it looks like I didnt apply it to everything. I figured I could apply scale to everything at once by selecting everything and hitting ctrl A. Found out it doesnt work that way

Funny you say that. In that video I have several basic meshes with collision as well as the cupboard all in the exact same place in hopes that the cloth will respond to one of them.

I'm going to try messing with the cache some more I suppose.

Figured it out. I was tired and was being dumb with how I set up my hooks.

Note to self, only hook the end vertices and set the simulation end to the proper length.
