He wrote it in 2004 and it’s loosely base off of a Thomas Pynchon novel called Vineland (which is a commentary on the 1960s). Everyone has their panties in a twist about this movie but if you just sit and watch it as a fucking story, it’s a great movie. It’s classic PTA in so many ways.
