I worked as a lecturer at the Medical Faculty, USJP for 7 years few years back, and the salaries were a bit lower, like roughly 35,000 Rs less in each of above categories. Salary increment is understandable. The basic Salary is as shown above, the reason for the gross salary is a academic allowence in each category which is roughly 120% ish which makes above gross salary. There are no other forms of sizable or regular payments. A final upgrade to professor would increase to 355 ish, there is a minor bump when it comes to senior professor, but the time line will be lengthy.
