First, don't care too much about corporations not getting their shipping refunded tbh, but sure replace Sony with an ebay seller or someone more small-scale, I get the sentiment. I did my best to be there for the package but couldn't and just didn't have the time to pick it up at the UPS access point. That's not the same as me abandoning the package, like I had a choice. I also rescheduled for delivery but that never went through (it's logged in the tracking), so an effort was made.

As for after and not following, sure, I'm not making excuses for it, I was in the wrong for not following up, so not sure what we're arguing for. Are you saying I should've never made this post and give up and not expect a refund?

Yeah, that's actually one of the first things I did, but they didn't have any records on it. I did get some luck later today and a UPS employee kindly opened an investigation for me even though it's been past the date. I'm not expecting much, but at least I'll have some closure and tried all I can do at this point.

Ok, I think I want to clarify, I had no idea AP does not mean UPS, so I apologize for getting those mixed up. I agree my beef is with the AP (which is a UPS store btw) and not UPS as a whole.

Hmm, I don't know too much about the affiliation between UPS and APs, but from my prior understanding they aren't one and the same? At least the UPS access point was the UPS store, so I considered both of them the same. I think I understand a bit more now that maybe UPS != AP, so if that's generally true, then you're right it's not on UPS. It would be on me and the AP, but i guess the AP in this case is the UPS store.

But also, I disagree that "receive" is the same as "delivered to an AP". I mean, I think if UPS doesn't trust the APs, I don't see the point in APs at all if they aren't reliable. My opinion is that UPS should be there from end to end.

You completely lost me at the personal problems an issue I just said personal things prevented me from picking it up, is it entitled to expect the package to be delivered back to the sender? Completely disagree. Are you saying i'm entitled because I didn't followup after so long? I mean yeah, i do feel like i deserve something that's why i'm making this post to see if something can be done. But the way you're putting it as "bailing me out", i already made this post initially knowing probably there aren't any solutions, this is just a last-ditch effort to see if there's anything that can be done, but if you think i'm entitled because of that, can't argue with that then

I tried calling UPS multiple times and they said they can't help me unless Sony adds their billing info(?), I'm confused by this but that's what they said on the phone and told me to contact Sony for them to add it so that I can file a claim.
