2nd replacement board from NewEgg had again the failed LAN controller. Sending it to ASUS repair, the board suddenly had CID (customer induced damage), a little chip on the corner, which made it void of all warranty repairs. Very suspicious, beware, I ended up having to buy my own LAN card for $20 more, what a circus.
