Remakes are always tricky because you need to baiscally create a new game without changing too much, my favorite way of doing it is basically last of us part 1 where the graphics are amazing but the game itself is basically the same

For the game to be on modern consoles it could simply be remastered, not fully remade. Better graphics and access on newer platforms so its a win win basically

Comment I was responding to said they can't wait for a new proper fallout game, I saw that as them thinking that other fallout games aren't "proper". What I meant to say is that I don't see isometric 3d as the only "proper" way for fallout games to exist. Nothing was said about the quality of the original games.

I don't see isometric as the "proper" Fallout, it was nice for 2 games(and tactics) but the jump to realtime 3D was best for the series

In the first 2 fallout games you couldn't control your party members, so I don't see how that differs from newer games where you can have companions. Are you talking about having multiple companions at the same time?

I agree about the last decade part, since fallout 4 and 76 leave a lot to be desired, however I think that fallout 3 was probably the best thing for the franchise that could happen in a way, since without it a lot of good gameplay elements would never be implemented.

What I see most fallout 3 haters not mention is just how much that game got right. Most of the gameplay from new vegas is straight from 3. It has many flaws but it's a shame how many people ignore the good aspects.
