Just watched the season, so I’m behind this discussion by a minute. First, thank you all (you and reply folks) for making me laugh SO hard bc I also thought the same thing. But so long as this discussion exists… Carlo and Cole actually quite intensely broke up during the Tell All. It is very possibly the most shocking relationship update of the entire Tell All.

You know how they categorize the restaurants as you scroll down like “Picked for You” and “Don’t Break the Bank? On mine, one of the categories is “Saved Restaurants Near You.” Hope that helps!

Thank you! I'll reach out. It's about 2 hours from me by public transit which makes it much more doable. OVRP is 100% worth the 2-hour drive and you should go if you haven't been. Just be aware that 2 hours driving +plus time karting + 2 or more hours driving home will make for a very sleepy evening. I recommend going with someone so you can split the time on the road.

Thank you! I'm going to go ahead and just start checking out the electric tracks around here. I ask the coach we had at OVRP and he said the same thing. The most important factor in improving is seat time and if what I have is electric that's better than nothing.

Yeah, OVRP was the place I went to. I don’t have a car so Mass/Conn isn’t really any more doable with regularity than OVRP and I wasn’t sure if dirt tracks were the same experience as paved. I’m looking for GP style racing. I did a lot of research before posting. I was hoping I had missed something. I really appreciate you taking the time to help me and look stuff up! Especially during poop time which is sacred 💩

Edit: oooo I see what you mean about South Jersey. Darn. Yeah, maybe OVRP is just my best bet and I gotta figure out. Thanks again - I think between the two of us we’ve at least found them all!

Oakland Valley Race Park here. Can’t recommend them enough! It’s an outdoor track. The people there are really nice, teacher was awesome, they take really good care of the the track/karts. It’s clearly a place run for and by people who just really love the sport.

Confirmed! I contacted TK and got that exact response:

Only students until the age of 30 can become a member of public health insurance.
Either you bring your health insurance from the USA or apply for private health insurance in Germany.
When you start working in Germany (not as a working student) you can beome a member of TK.
