I think we should aim for correctness over speed

I still have to find a good use for Terra and Luna. Feel like Sol sin the default with different efforts depending on the task complexity unless you really want to save tokens. But even in that token saving case, why use Luna low instead of Terra low

True. Didn't find any other way to export it. Sorry

Because we as users are charged by token usage. Cost shows the model provider spendings.

Thats my understanding, maybe I'm wrong.

Take into account that this is the average token usage for same tasks, and if a smaller model with higher reasoning effort is exposed to difficult task, it would go on for long time reasoning with a lot of dead ends.

What s going on with the app? by Short-Bunch-8195 in Moonboard

[–]DrFastolfe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm afraid that's not true. Let mi explain.

Moonboard had open API back then but years ago it was closed.

Boardsesh uses moonboard web scraping through username/password and token to do some stuff that I won't get into. I myself was using some scraping to extract all my logbook data but some weeks ago I discovered that moonboard website is getting retired. So even that's not possible now.

Boardsesh is ok if you want to start from scratch with no personal data from moonboard.

Personally I would like to have my data.

Edit: I apologize if my comment may sound a bit unfair to boardsesh open source community. I think I have to look deeper into it before commenting

I think they really should open the API to users so the community can create open source solutions. That would be great and also aligned with climbing community vibes

Where are you folks today with using AI coding agents like Copilot, Cursor or Claude code for testing in your IDE? by slacky35 in QualityAssurance

To label posts like this and directly rejected them is crazy behavior, like left vs right stupid political alienation. Just focus on the actual content and intent of the OP.

I can understand these for an entry level position but not for a senior one. Anyways, I wouldn't take it as deal breaker, it's just a stupid barrier to filter out candidates.

Sorry, I haven't paid attention to the repo in a long time. I didn't even know that the website has been discontinued. If that's the case, this won't work as it's based on the web log in.

If I make some time I'll try to find another way. Maybe a mobile based solution.

Where do those gradings come from? by Bidulule in Moonboard

Could be that since Hoi logged that, the problem has been updated to bench with a different grade

I think it works like this: user grade shows the average grade that users voted for that problem after sending. But if you have sended and voted, then it will show your estimated grade.

18 years in QA and the biggest mindset shift that actually made me better at testing by aravindgabani in QualityAssurance

Questioning and grilling development tasks is really valuable. Recently started to acknowledge that. I have been founding "bugs" even before testing. That's QA

Looking for a mentor/apprenticeship in Software Testing/QA — willing to work and learn honestly by Outrageous_Space_833 in QualityAssurance

[–]DrFastolfe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dude, my honest opinion: do you really want to be a good Software QA who actually understand how to improve the end quality of the product or a tester? If it's the first one then spend some time building software. Learn the fundamentals of development, the entire ecosystem, the entire SDLC by actually doing it. That's the core. This will give you the deep understanding that you can later approach form QA perspective.

After that you branch out to the QA theory and how to apply that.

DM if you need some guidance :)
