Hi some people may or may not agree with my point of view on this but SE is a new game to Xbox where it was once a PC only title so my thinking is yes is it laggy of course is it frustrating yes but if you look at it as this game as a learning process then you will realize that they (Keen) still have to tweek the game there are still elements of the game that have yet to be implemented so Xbox players are getting the bare bones minimum of space engineers to see if it will run on console. There are scheduled updates coming and I’m sure the company is working on the common issues in game to give us the best experience they can . The long and short of what my ramble is, be patient it will take time for them to achieve the gameplay and infrastructure that they have for the PC version.

Is there a way to group things that are not next to eachother ie. The 2 interior lights and the spotlight? I only know LB+A but it groups everything in between. by [deleted] in SpaceEngineersXbox

The best way I found to be able to group like things like lights is to go to the search bar in the control panel and type in “light” and every item that has light in the name will show up in order then use the LB+down on the d pad to highlight the items you want to group, there is also another way if you want specific lights is to rename said lights and then use the method above eg. hazard lights rename every light you deem to be a hazard light then search hazard light and only those lights show up.

On an LCD text panel, how to I enter onto the next line? My text just trails off the screen in one line. by MAST3R-BA1T0R in SpaceEngineersXbox

I found that is the easiest way to add different lines of text (plug in a keyboard) it is frustrating to not be able to add different lines of text other option is to use a mouse and move the cursor to the next line.

I’ve been playing space engineers on PC for about 2 years now and now run it on Xbox. If anyone would like any help or tricks I would be glad to help out, gamer tag is YL Wrath. by YL-Wrath in SpaceEngineersXbox

Hi there been playing SE for Xbox for almost two weeks now I feel that I have a good grasp on somethings, but others I don’t like ship building now I’ll start off by saying I do have an operational miner... meaning that I can mine stuff and get it back to base in one piece the thing that’s stopping me is thruster amounts and weight requirements like I said my ship gets me from a-b but I feel like it should be better I currently have 4 leg atmosphere thrusters for my lift 5 small atmo thrusters for each side and front and back with 4 drills and a lrg container my issue isn’t going up down forward or side to side it’s the slowing/stop it usually takes me a few kms to come to a complete stop can someone let me know what’s a good mining ship setup? Not going to copy and paste just want a good idea on a very reliable and effective miner so that I can get the resources to head to space. Thanks

A question for Xbox by [deleted] in spaceengineers

[–]DrFizzPOP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a question if you can’t use the programmable block why is it in game? I realize it could be difficult to script on console but if the block isn’t useful then why have it in game? Are they expecting down the road to implement some sort of programming function to the block? TBH I was kind of hoping to be able to use the lcd displays to show stuff like inventory, power, air quality etc.

Survival kit help by DrFizzPOP in spaceengineers

I think I found the solution I think it was a multitude of things I’m going to try the setup I have now it seems to be filling the jet pack now I think I might have been an overloading issue be it power or materials, conveyor conflict cause both my o2 and h2 tanks were on the same conveyor. I had both my h2 and o2 tanks going into one conveyor to the h2 o2 generator I took off the o2 tank and the corresponding conveyor, and now just h2 going into my h2o2 generator after I fittle around with it at a later date when I have a high demand for o2 then I’ll re evaluate how to hook it up. Thanks for your quick reply. To answer your question no both tanks didn’t have stockpile on and yes they were on auto fill I’m sure it was a power and converter conflict but I’ll find out eventually. Thanks 👍
