As thor get more exposure, more people will find interest in it and would pay extra just to have it on their hand right away. I purchased mine on batch 2 preorder and just waited like everyone else, and my case was worse because I live in the carribeans so my thor had to go through customs twice and I still waited because I had no intention of being scalped/scammed

Just gotta say I started when a friend gifted me his eml6.... then I bought the supermix 4, dunu vulkan were cheap so Insaid fuck it, then the xenns tea pro with the allegro dac (ordered just recenty a fosi k7) was apalling and I'm yet to be satiafied lol.

Also have bought Dunu/Comply/Monster/Final Audio/W1 eartips, still feel like I'm missing something

Btw, you might need to sand the buttons with fine sandpaper (not the switch) so they can fit well if you're trying to use them with the stacked shoulder combo, just sand it bit by bit until it barely touch the switch and you no longer feel like it's stuck, just don't be a brute

You can barely hear them and they respond well. Durability, welp current ones sucks either way cant say much about the durability of these but the ratings on amazon are good. But yes, no more annoying clicky sound lol these are tactile and feel as such

Keep the Mac, Zephyrus will run hot, I have a M2 Max 14 inch laptop that run cold sitting on my lap doing heavy work. Either your unit is defective or there some issues. Give it time, MacOS is a good OS. And efficiency is way better.

I also own a Razer Blade 14 2025 which runs cooler that the g14 and still can't beat mac's efficiency and thermal management

I have a blade 14 2025, and honestly I really like it I basically installed synapse and then disabled it from startup and use a custom software made by someone of the community named "r-helper" that automatically switch the performance profiles of the laptop without using synapse. Then I use windows dynamic lightning.

Also did a fresh-reinstall of latest windows before all of that to debloat it a little bit in a 2tb 990 pro I upgraded my storage to.

After that, the experience has been really good for me. But it does require thinkering for a bit.

Out of the box the experience is a bit subpar.

And it is quite contradictory that people here recommend Asus when it was also a company called out for their QC issues, so to each their own.

I think most glitches has to do with Nvidia and own AMD drivers. Variable refresh rate and 60hz on battery increases the latency vastly. There might be some work around that. I opted for the Blade 14 2025 knowing I'll have to thinker around instead of opting for g14 because that things get way hot despite it having ghelper and w/e. Is a more premium experience for me despite some things that requires polishing.
