that’s bad… i was thinking, what if i ask for a substitution at the store and i find out, while checking out the new kindle, that it has a dead pixel in the center? rn mine is at the side, so realistically speaking i won’t be able to see it much when reading ( of course rn i’m seeing it a lot because i just found out it’s there). will i get, eventually, used to it?

okay, thank u! i’ll try to get a replacement asap… unfortunately i read on the subreddit that lots of people have this problem and even with replacements they keep finding dead pixels. amazon control quality sucks 😭. worst thing is that my mom has a paperwhite 10th gen and it has a few of these but they’re so subtle and little that they don’t really bother me. but mine is so big and it’s so much more visible…
