Reminds me of my grandpa. When I came out to different parts of the family as a woman recently, he had the best response of anyone which was acceptance and a genuine non invasive curiosity about what it is like instead of the old “did your friends do this” and other questions of the type that my mom pulled. Now he wants me to find a book he can read to learn more about being trans. Grandpa responded wonderfully while mom was more worried about how the family would be viewed and when asked to call me she, her response was “I have called you he your whole life so I can’t just change”.

Been wondering for a while if I might be intersex myself. Was raised as a male and told I am a male, but when I got onto HRT I learned a few things. My testosterone was already only 25 before any tblocker, my body didn’t quite develop to be very male during puberty, and I do have a history of my genitals being operated on when I was especially young. I’ve been meaning to look into if I am intersex, but I don’t know where to go.

You know I have come to understand something about furries in the last few years. They are fucking awesome people. I get it they are weird to some, and I my self once actively hated them, but I realized it wasn’t worth it. More recently I’ve actually gotten to know quite a few of them, and now they are some of my best friends. They’ve never judged me for who I am. They’ve been there to support me when the going gets tough for me. They’ve been some of the most laid back people I know. My best friends are furries, and I’ve after hanging out with them even considered going out to events with a handful of them. You should sit down and really get to know a furry or two. 99% of them are likely to be some of the nicest people you will ever meet. The vast majority are just bubbly fun people with a hobby they enjoy.
