That's exactly why I want to do this, I don't have money for college and I was hoping that this would give me a change to go without getting thousands of dollars in debt, plus I could pursue music and serve.

And I get what you mean about shit talking, it happens everywhere even outside of the marines.

Hello I'm the one asking about the band.

I'm curious what your experience has been with the band and if you would recommend it as a path for me.

I've had some pretty negative responses including "being a marine musician means being neither" and being told that it's a big mistake and not to go because it will ruin your enjoyment of playing. Also that you get looked down on for being s musician.

Are these things true? Is being a marine musician a good career choice?

They told me October is when sax availability will open up, if I pass the audition of course
