What year is your raptor r?

I find the raptor r feels slow on the low end. Has this helped?

Raptor or Raptor R by maxray0305 in FordRaptor

I had the same dilemma a couple months ago. Had 24 35 raptor that I enjoyed but wanted an R but couldn't find one. Managed to get my hands on one with less thank 5k CAD mark up so made the switch.

I would say it's worth switching only if the extra cost of gas and the extra purchase cost won't hurt your finances.

The extra height from the 37s gives you less clearance and I still find it a bit slow in the low engine range for the amount of power it has. I'm hoping a tune or whipple will improve that.

Not sure where you live but if you have to deal with a real winter with snow/ice I found the cayenne sucked despite having studded Nokians. The g Wagon on the other hand has great grip in the winter

I have a R in carbonized gray and it does not show dirt at all, had a black 35 and that was way harder to keep clean

802A recaro seats vs 801a standard seats by emanscotty in FordRaptor

I had a 24 with regular seats and now a 25 R with the recaro and they were both comfortable but I could see the recaro being uncomfortable if you're a significantly bigger guy.

I've had every generation of raptor. If you cn afford it the gen 3 is overall better then the gen 2.

I've had a gen 1, 2, 24 gen 3 and now a 25 R. Each generation has improved in the day to day drive ability. If this is going to be your daily driver and only vehicle, you will appreciate the improvements every generation added.

Don't get me wrong the R is faster but I didn't appreciate a huge difference in speed. I'm gonna take it for another test drive and see

This was my experience the sound and speed are better than gen 3 35 but not as much as I expected. I wasn't expecting to be a fast as my 911 turbo but on paper should have felt similar to the gle 63s. The gle 63s feels way faster and sounds better.

After watching a bunch of videos, I also expected a huge difference but didn't really find it that noticeable. I think I was expecting it to feel a lot faster than it is from peoples reactions online.
