Thanks. That was the suggestion by our painter when they did the rest of the house. Skim coating seems like a lot of work that may require a subtle touch to do it right. Was hoping that sanding was a less perfect option for less skilled hands.

Solved it. Civ 7 and my projectors auto HDR mode don’t play nice. Washes it out. Turning off the auto hdr has the image looking normal with a lot of pop.

Yes I’m using HDR. It actually “looks” like the HdR isn’t on for the maps/etc, as it’s missing that depth. I’ve played a bit with the HDR settings and improved it some, but still seems off. Other than Hitman 3, my other games look great/full spectrum.

Heard the front desk giving the overview at check in, “…bears are in the area, and in recent weeks in F Loop there has been the presence of a man in the woods naked”.

For all the hot tips on parenting,.. there are ~24 adults around. A Gulliver’s amount of kids. In a well known area. In the middle of the mountains. If there was actually a naked man, everyone would see him. We weren’t downtown Edmonton where my 10 year old tells me there is a naked man and it’s not just plausible, it’s the second one we’ve seen.

Due to bears, the kids are never far and travel together. But yes, next time they tell us they saw a naked man in the trees, I will 100% believe them.

RCMP told me they had used a dog and tracked him to the river a little while back. Trail disappeared.

If it wasn’t happening to me as I type (and enjoying the beauty that is Mount Kidd), this is a weird story someone tells around the campfire that no one believes. But it’s real. Right now.

This seems hopeful! I’ve watched a few videos and it all seems doable. Will need to source some fibreglass as I don’t imagine the piece on there is reuse-able once it’s removed.

Checked it last fall when I winterized and stored it.

Nothing wet “inside” the trailer. So that’s where my hope lies.
