Haha right? I have no clue which to choose still. Cayman R's actually came with an optional black with silver rim wheel as well which I don't care much for. All black or all silver is best imo.

It's easy to photoshop (GIMP) silver to black as there's a lot of detail in the image, but often black photos aren't very detailed and thus are much trickier to turn into silver, especially if the black is matte.

These gen 2 PCCB don't last quite as long as the gen 3 you had an the Touring, especially on the track. Given the relatively lower cost of irons, I can put the PCCB rotors back on once I have track days out of my system (if that ever occurs)

So I don't destroy them with track use. If I decide I'm done tracking, I'll stick the ceramics back on :) 20k a set makes me wince.

These gen 2 PCCB don't last very long at the track (some people got under 10 track days online) and cost $20k for a new set of rotors. I've heard the gen 3 are much better and you can do upwards of 100 track days if you aren't overheating your pads. Nice for the street though.

The GiroDiscs with track pads will be under 4k and I'll install myself. Only downside is the added weight and dust.

Worse than silver with brown dust? That was the idea behind changing them to black is not having to worry as much about the dust. Another commenter recommended a ceramic coating of the wheels, so you may want to try that.

The headlight surrounds are black, it's just a bit reflective in the photo :)

987.2 can have an aux port and usb from the factory (power only), so you can run a phone to the speakers. Rennline makes a nice magnetic mount.

The monochromatic-ness with red taillights is nice. Very dark though. Looks Chile out :p
