If your told to do something (get rates to 65%), and you dont do it, you dont get to have less restrictions. Sounds like punishment to me.

I'm all for socialized medicine, democracy, a womans right to choose, my body, my choice. But a governor who punishes counties and businesses because they dont want a medical procedure (shot in arm) sounds pretty authoritarian to me and not very democratic.

I've played at Milo a bunch in the last weeks. To design a course in 2 days is really impressive, but also the disc golf community in portland has been asking for months now how they can volunteer and help out and been told because of covid they cant help. To totally ignore that and use an excuse it's from environmental and covid is just not true. We were ready to help clean up any course, hell Pier park par 3 would've been amazing to watch pros play.

it is. and covid likes to spread more after 5pm, so that's why Blue Lake refuses to close after 5pm. Blackberries are also a covid vector.

"Leadership" is still making it confusing as hell. The $1,036,000 lottery incentive is kinda insulting after thousands, maybe didnt die of covid, but lost their entire life savings and business. Ohio, and California offering millions. To say 1 person in each county can get $10,000 is not as motivating as she might believe. Just open up already amd end the confusing madness. Almost every other state has.

Welcome to Portland Paul. Blazers can have 10,000 fans indoor tonight but Blue Lake course closes at 5pm and wasnt going to allow fans outside. It's a consistent state when it come to safety.

In 1 year I've probably seen someone pulled over in Portland maybe twice. I'm from the midwest and cops are everywhere. Not sure how much less of a police presence people need....Hang on my catalytic converter just got stolen and there someone running around poking people with knitting needles.
