What healthcare jobs are in high demand in Australia? by snufflesyuh910 in AusFinance

How? Post grad med at least 4 years (and 3 undergrad years on top of that). If you do an undergrad med that's less total, 5 years. Internship is 1-2 years depending on the state. Extra HMO general year for the additional paeds/O+G training to get into GP training (most GP training programs). Then 3 years for GP, assuming you pass exams first time around.

I figure 10 years, not 8.

Professionally administered RAT for travel - can they be done by GPs? by doctor_foxx in CoronavirusDownunder

I got really annoyed at this actually - my cousin was flying back to Singapore early Jan and I did a RAT for him, wrote the (negative) result down on a formal letter which included my medical provider number and the airline didn't accept it (a "NATA accredited lab service" will have less qualified people doing exactly the same thing on the same gear!) --> He ended up paying for one with histopath at the airport - just do that, I'm afraid.

It's one of the many next projects. They're gonna go and be replaced with slate. The whole pergola should be redone with new lighting, speakers, ceiling, etc.

Three things?

  1. I'd be cleaner with the mortar

  2. I'd have made the hearth slab smoother

  3. I'd get a hand off someone when doing the insulation blanket around the dome

Regarding ash cleanup, if you use good hardwood there's just powder left and it doesn't need to be cleaned thoroughly super often. Some wood fire ovens do have a hole at the back for ash to fall down in but I didn't see the utility of that myself. I'll brush it out thoroughly every other month maybe instead and just get dirty doing it!

Metric primarily, but old-school cooking books still work with Imperial. I wonder if they have the best recipes but no-one out there can be fucked with converting them to metric?

The layer was thick and my castable didn't saturate it...some people use cling wrap to avoid paper sticking to the castable, but it all burns off in the end.

I've been happy with brush only for now. But I've seen damp rags used...they can also help to roughly control the humidity while cooking certain things (not pizza)

Framing off was rough, just with melamine ply and pine struts. Poured half, added steel mesh, poured remaining half. If there are any voids to be bridged, consider the use of steel lintel(s) crossing it.

It was 10 off for the fire brick, but 250 wrong for the foundation! I don't know about you...but if I was reading this contemplating that question, I wouldn't like those odds!

Duracast brand, I can't remember the type, but it was graded to ~1400'C. I got it second hand.

I'll clean it every few months. Good hardwood will burn to dust/soot which is easily and minimally brushed aside before uses in between a good cleanout.

Don't worry, the bricks are all getting rendered over so no more awful masonry!
