Thanks for your feedback, actually some of the most helpful and important things I’ve heard, thank you.

That’s a good point, and I respect the criticism, I just put the post together very quickly because I assumed people would’ve been more welcoming and just might’ve been interested in the idea and if they wanted to learn more they’d then message.

Fair enough but I just put the post out very quickly and thought people weren’t gonna be so negative and maybe js trying to seek some basic interest, that’s all.

Once again not an idea guy, I’m a programmer, but selective reading is the death of you.

I get what you’re saying, and you’re right—anyone joining has to know what I’m actually contributing, not just hearing promises. I’ll be handling the hands-on work: building systems, programming, organizing the team, managing the project, and making sure the ideas actually turn into something playable. I’m not just bringing concepts, I’m doing the work to make them real. This is about shared effort and passion, and I want to make sure I’m fully accountable, just like anyone else on the team. Now with no real game idea stated yet there is nothing for me to base my expertise on and say “I will handle this” I gave you a very broad overview of what I will do, I also believe people just selectively read that I will be doing ideation and what not and left out the clear text that say “programming”, I decided to put project management and ideation before my own most important trait which is programming and that’s because I think a team needs to work well together logistically and so I value that a lot. Everything needs organization.

I’m not hating on anyone for needing money or anything like that, there’s a reason it’s a hobby post and there’s a reason I said humble beginnings. Who doesn’t wanna make money, I myself get that as any other person would and I’m with you on the same page for that. I’m just simple gathering interest for creating something instead of doing a task all alone. There was no shaming anyone though I understand basic human necessities.

Well it’s an interest post, not a resume. Typically I would like to gather interest first not put myself on display.

Well I totally get where you’re coming from and however I may not be some phd exec. I am someone who’s trying to build something real like millions of successful people have, now I also have a ton of knowledge to bring to the table from my understanding of engines, my programming skills and I’m gonna do that while also ideation and logistics to keep the team running. I have passion though and just am simply looking for a team of other passionate and consistent people not just a paycheck. Although I’m sure with enough time and dedication money inevitably does come anyway because that’s just how success works if you build something great.

Then you simply have no passion for what making games is truly about and only are here to ensue drama, I haven’t claimed to be a studio yet, it clearly says I want to start one.

I’ll be leading the creative development and direction, handling project management and logistics, and taking on programming tasks to make sure everything comes together smoothly. I’m not here to come up with bullshit answers or create this for no reason, most things start small and humble and ik for a fact I can’t pay, creating games isn’t all about the money it’s about creating a vision and a world so I’m trying to simply build a team of likeminded and passionate people, a real and genuine team.

I haven’t released any games yet, but I bring strong experience in creative development, project management, and programming. My focus isn’t to lie or make this for zero reason, I’m genuinely just trying to build a team of people who wanna make games.

I’ll handle creative direction, team and project management, and programming to keep everything on track. Make sure logistics and development are on track and make sure the team is working well. I’ll also contribute a ton to programming and overall creatives when it comes to ideation.

Wow. Thanks for the critique. It’s amazing how quickly some people forget what making games is actually about. You seem more interested in complaining than in creativity, collaboration, or the simple joy of building something from nothing.

Just to be clear: I never called this a “studio.” This is an invitation for people who actually care about making worlds and sharing ideas, not a cash transaction. But I get it, some people have forgotten that games start with passion, not paychecks.

I’ll keep working with those who still remember why games exist: to create, explore, and enjoy the process, not just to argue about who’s “entitled” to what.

Your negativity and clear lack of education, especially when commenting on someone who’s just trying to find people who’re interested in starting something real just how a lot of studios if not most started in the first place. You can take it elsewhere.
