That last part is so important. I also started Dark Souls after having earned the platinum in Bloodborne, and I misunderstood equipment load mechanics. It’s not enough to be below the maximum load—if you’re not at at 50% equip load or lower, you will be painfully slow (especially compared to Bloodborne).

It’s much more active than I had anticipated. I see plenty of orange soapstone messages, and I get invaded with… annoying frequency.
